Participants
The competition has brought together school pupils, university students, and young entrepreneurs. The youngest contestant is 14 years old, while the oldest is 30, with the average age being 22.
In total, 869 teams registered, of which 793 confirmed their participation. Tashkent leads in the number of applications with 2,096 participants and 574 teams, followed by the Fergana and Tashkent regions, each represented by 464 participants.
What ideas were presented
The scope of projects reflects the most relevant areas of IT:
• digital solutions for the social sector,
• AI-based services,
• Micro-SaaS and AdTech,
• fintech and entrepreneurship,
• computer and mobile games.
A highlight of this year’s competition is the hackathon track with 177 participating teams.
Current stage
At this stage, experts are conducting evaluations based on four key criteria: product, potential, business model, and team. The strongest projects will be selected to advance to the final round.
Why is this important
The President Tech Award continues to serve as one of the country’s premier platforms for identifying young talent and supporting innovative ideas, fostering an ecosystem that enables startups to evolve into full-fledged companies.
