Armenia hosts its Best Startup Project Semifinal
The third semifinal of the Digital Startup Awards (DSA) took place in Yerevan, Armenia, marking another milestone on the road to the Grand Finale in Tashkent. The event gathered the country’s most ambitious founders, investors, and ecosystem builders — all driven by one goal: to accelerate innovation and support the next generation of startups across the region.
Out of 350+ applications received globally, 9 startups from Armenia took the stage to pitch their ideas. After a round of inspiring presentations, two finalists — EMPY and ReEducate — earned their place in the Grand Final this December in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The Armenian semifinal featured an expert jury composed of Shakhzod Narzullayev (IT Park Ventures, Uzbekistan), Gohar Abajyan (Enterprise Armenia), Ruben Osipyan (STAN Angel Investors), and Marie Barseghyan (Enterprise Incubator Foundation).
EMPY — developer of an AI-powered communication assistance bot designed to resolve workplace conflicts and promote empathy, trust, and inclusion. The bot leverages non-violent communication models and GPT-based technology to help users craft more respectful and constructive messages, improving communication culture within Slack workspaces.
ReEducate — an innovative EdTech platform that combines theoretical, practical, and creative learning into one environment. ReEducate simplifies complex educational challenges and provides an integrated solution that enhances both teaching and learning experiences.
In addition to the main awards, Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) introduced a special nomination — “Best Pitch”, awarding the startup GOTCHA with a €1,000 prize. Moreover, Engineering City offered residency to the startup BeeSync, showcasing how partners not only support the DSA program but also actively invest in the growth of local founders.
The Digital Startup Awards (DSA) continues to unite the brightest minds from across the region. The journey moves forward as we approach the Grand Final in Tashkent, where winners from each country will compete for a total prize fund of $100,000.
Organized under the Digital Startups Program and supported by IT Park Uzbekistan, IT Park Ventures, Startupbase, Enterprise Incubator Foundation, and Enterprise Armenia, the DSA remains a platform that empowers regional innovators and fosters collaboration across the Central Asian startup ecosystem.
