New Opportunities for Startups: A $10 Million Venture Fund
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has signed a decree on the establishment of the State Target Fund for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship, with a total capital of $100 million. This initiative aims to support young entrepreneurs and facilitate the creation of at least 50,000 new jobs.
As part of this fund, a venture capital structure with a budget of $10 million has been introduced to invest in high-potential startups. Depending on the stage of development, eligible startups may receive funding of up to 2 billion UZS:
