Results of the Open Data Challenge 2026 Hackathon
The Open Data Challenge 2026 hackathon successfully concluded at Tashkent State University of Economics with the support of IT Park, the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan, and UzStat. The event was aimed at fostering a culture of developing innovative solutions based on open data among young people.
More than 150 participants registered for the hackathon. Following the selection stage, 60 participants were admitted to develop digital solutions leveraging open data.
As a result of the hackathon, the following teams were announced as winners:
Hackathon winners:
• 1st place: School 21
• 2nd place: Dior X
• 3rd place: Shakarop
The first-place team, School 21, presented the AntiRisk.uz platform, which uses artificial intelligence and more than 15 million open data points to help businesses assess risks and make well-informed management decisions.
Second place was awarded to Dior X, which developed a solution for analyzing and evaluating B2B prices within closed auctions, offering businesses valuable analytical tools.
Third place was taken by Shakarop, a platform designed to connect students with internship opportunities at large companies, thereby supporting the development of practical skills and enhancing young people’s career prospects.
Initiatives such as Open Data Challenge 2026 play an important role in promoting the practical application of open data, encouraging innovative thinking, and increasing youth engagement in addressing real-world challenges.
