On November 5–6, 2025, the New Uzbekistan University hosted the international workshop iCCiEE5 – Intercultural Co-Creation for International Entrepreneurship Education, dedicated to sustainable entrepreneurship and the transition towards a green economy.

 

The event brought together students, professors, entrepreneurs, and experts from Uzbekistan, Germany, and Jordan. Welcome remarks were delivered by Dr. Bahodir Akhmedov, First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Azizbek Marakhimov, Vice-Rector for International Relations at New Uzbekistan University.

 

 

The program featured keynote speeches and a panel discussion titled “Green Business Models and Responsible Innovation: Global and Local Perspectives”, moderated by Katrin Albrecht, Senior Manager at TUM International GmbH.

 

 

Representing IT Park Uzbekistan, Startups & Investments Development Director - Elyor Maksudov delivered a presentation titled “Green Digital Future”, highlighting the concept of Green Digitalization and Sustainability and emphasizing the role of IT Park Uzbekistan as a center that integrates technology, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
